Edwin Schmauss, 89, passed away on March 4, 2026, in Bartlesville, OK. He was born on April 30, 1936, in Cresco, IA, to Lester Schmauss and Myrte Schmauss.
Edwin was a hairdresser for 40 years before owning Mike's Fast Lube in Collinsville for 15 years. He also served in the United States Navy from 1954 - 1958.
Edwin is survived by his son: Mike (Tina) Schmauss, son: Billy (Carolyn) McDonald and daughter: Debra Hobgood.
Edwin is preceded in death by his father: Lester Schmauss, mother: Myrte Schmaus, son: Gary McDonald, and his wife: Fern Schmauss
A private family service will be held at a later date.
