I was sitting in LA tonight, and it popped into my mind to Google Eddie. Dee, I remember you and him well from your visits to Akron back in the 60s. May his memory be a blessing. Cousin Jerry Rosenblum

Ed was special because he was upbeat and always happy to spend time with you. He was a really decent person. His smile, his jokes, his laughter made him a wonderful friend. He cast a long shadow and spread much good cheer and goodwill. I will miss being with him but will keep him forever in my memory.

Nice, nice, nice, NICE man!!! That's what my mom would always say anytime you mentioned the Simons family. I met Mr. Simons when I was 11 years old, I loved him then and always will. He was the kind of man (and the type of family) you can always depend on, as though they were your own. What an honor to have known him! Until we meet again my friend, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Love, Maureen
