Edwin Warrick Obituary
Edwin Allan Warrick, age 76, passed away on 8/19/2024 in Knoxville, TN due to complications from a recent stroke.
Ed was born in New Castle, Indiana on 11/26/1947 and was the son of Joyce Smith Warrick and Robert Warrick. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard during 1967-1971. From an early age he was passionate about photography which eventually lead to a 50+ year career in the retail photographic space. He was well respected in the camera industry for his extensive knowledge in camera equipment and photofinishing.
Upon retirement in 2012, he enjoyed being part of the theatre group, the Smyrna Village Players, watching the Atlanta Braves and Lady Vols, and spending time with his beloved cats and family. In 2018 Ed relocated from Atlanta, GA to Oak Ridge, TN. His work ethic and humor will be remembered by many.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Teresa Joyce Warrick (Lanier), children, Aaron Warrick and Brenda Warrick Culp, grandchildren, Savannah Warrick and Olivia Culp.
A private celebration of life for the family will be held at a later date and the family will be making arrangements for Ed to be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
