Eileen M. Aniolowski, 92, loving wife of Richard E. Aniolowski for 68 years, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. Born in New Haven, Connecticut on July 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Lawrence) Grady.
Mrs. Aniolowski was a long-time Meriden resident. She graduated from Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport. Eileen was employed by Remington Arms of Bridgeport, Spaner's Pharmacy of Bridgeport, CUNO and Times Fiber of Wallingford. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church of Meriden.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and reading. She adored her cats Mittens, Midget and Tippy and her German Shepard Shiba. She was a UConn Women's Basketball fan. Of utmost importance to Eileen was her family.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her daughters, Ann Marie Scafidi and Kathleen Devine and her husband William; her sons, Richard Aniolowski and his wife Karen Weseliza and John Aniolowski and his wife Kathleen; her 14 beloved grandchildren, Melissa, Amy, Stephanie, Bethany, Gabrielle, Jeremy, Luke, John, Kristen, David, Matthew, Marissa, Ashley and William; 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her lifelong friends, Francis and Fran Gray. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Ricky, and her sister, Dorothy Mikusky.
Family and friends are invited to call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden, CT 06450 on Tuesday, October 21st from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center Street, Meriden, CT 06450.
