June 19, 2025
Dear Jim, Stephanie, and Hope,
We just learned today, June 19, 2025, that Eileen passed away late last summer. We are so sorry for your loss. So many years have passed since Stephanie and Emily began kindergarten together, when we first met. Eileen and I ran into each other many times over many years, but more recently we had lost touch. Please accept our sincerest condolences- we know what an amazing person Eileen was and how much you will miss her. May her memory always be a blessing to all of you.

Dear Dr. Feldman and family,
I am so sorry for your loss, and the world's loss, with Eileen's passing. I did not have the honor of knowing Eileen personally, but was I so grateful when you sponsored a family in our program's holiday gift drive together. Your whole family's generosity and kindness has clearly been impactful to so many for so long. I am keeping you all in my thoughts during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Joanne Timmons

Dear Dr. Feldman: It is with my deepest condolences that I send this message to you and your family. Although I've worked as a Boston EMS Paramedic under your medical oversight and training for many years, I've never met your wife. From what I've read about her, you have had the wonderful privilege of creating a partnership and raising a family with an amazing person. May you and your family continue to cherish her memory. May the God of underserved kindness and comfort soothe your family's grieving hearts.

The world is diminished by her loss, while blessed by the gifts she so generously left behind. With deepest sympathy, Susan Schiller

Thinking of you, Jim, and sending thoughts and prayers to your entire family. What an amazing life, and what an amazing woman ! I will always remember Eileen, we were at a BMC fundraiser, and I brought my Mom along, she had moved in with us after the death of my father, they had been married for 57 years, and my Mom for the next year was so deep in her grief she was withdrawn and not really participating in life. She had the good fortune of sitting next to Eileen at our table, and I have no idea of the exact conversation that took place with Eileen, but my husband and I were shocked and delighted when we looked up and saw my Mom dancing to the music, in fact she was leading a congo line around the dance floor !! Kind hearts run in the Feldman family, and it was from that point that my Mom started to move forward and heal, and she would always ask if I knew how Eileen was doing, and what a great time she had that night with her. For the Feldman family, it is great that she impacted so many in her important professional life, but her impact was also felt in everyday acts of kindness she displayed towards others.

I traveled thru NHS with Eileen, we were in some of the same classes together. She was always smiling, a ready laugh, a pleasure to spend time with - and so damned smart! I didn´t see her after graduation, but coincidentally spent a week in Sanibel, FL at the same condo complex as she and her family were staying at - maybe early 1990s? We spent some time catching up, she asked about my husband´s health after noticing his fistula, when I told her about his renal disease, she shared her life´s work and passion with me. During our shared time in Sanibel, Eileen expanded my understanding of renal disease and hemodialysis- always in a very positive, encouraging light. I left her that week feeling very hopeful. I will never forget her. I am so sorry for your loss.

When my family and I moved to our new home, Eileen was the first to welcome us. My daughter played with hers. She was a dear friend to everyone who met her and a brave woman to deal with whatever life threw her way. I will always remember our times. Love you.

I met Eileen at Family Fitness in Framingham many years ago. She became my client at my Nail salon shortly after. We became close friends. I got to spend quality one on one time every week for years with Eileen discussing, debating and laughing about every subject. I will miss her tremendously.

I knew Eileen as a fellow soccer mom when Stephanie and my daughter, Rachel, played together in Framingham. She was a kind person and had a great sense of humor. Always a pleasure to share these soccer games and root for the girls. Such a beautiful family. So sorry for your loss.

Eileen was my chemistry student during one of the first couple of years that I taught at Natick High. She was one of my best students and it was a joy to be her teacher. Our classroom had armchairs in the front of the room and lab tables in the back of the room. Eileen sat in the back row and I would often stand behind her in the lab area and look over her shoulder when she was taking a test. I could actually see her thinking as she answered the questions and solved the problems as she wrote her answers on the test paper. I knew that she became a doctor, but I didn´t know anything else about her life. I can see that she continued to excel after she left my classroom. I will always remember her with great fondness.
