Eileen Marie Knickmeyer (nee Burke), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the age of 63. Beloved wife and high school sweetheart to Richard “Tab” Knickmeyer; cherished daughter of the late Aloysius J. and Laverne A. Burke. Devoted mother of Adam (Mary Beth) Knickmeyer, Jesse (Meagan) Knickmeyer, and Seth Knickmeyer; loving grandmother of Charlotte, Hazel, Ruby, Jack, and Finn; dear sister of Daniel Burke, Jeffrey Burke, the late Mark Burke, and the late Scott Burke; aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Eileen had a successful career as a Certified Pharmacy Technician through BJC and Progress West. She was a woman of great faith and loved her family more than anything. Eileen had a caring heart and always extended a hand to those in need, by opening her home to others. She also volunteered her time through the Crisis Pregnancy Center and her local church. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed crocheting, and always looked forward to her next trip to Lake of the Ozarks where she often spent time with her family and friends. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren. Eileen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held privately to celebrate Eileen’s life.

It was my absolute honor to be Eileen´s boss at Progress West Hospital. Her positive attitude & roll-with-the-punches demeanor will forever be unmatched & her laughter in our halls will be missed. We adored that graceful lady & are so privileged to have known her! I am certain she is wrapped in the arms of Jesus today! My sincere condolences to Tab & her family.
