Eileen Zainhofsky was born August 5, 1934, to Martin and Juliana (Wolfe) Zainhofsky in
Rugby, ND. She graduated from Esmond High School as the class Valedictorian in 1952. She furthered her education by attending Minot State Teacher's College, where she earned her teaching certificate. She taught in rural schools near Esmond for three years, then taught one year in Harlow, ND.

Due to Eileen's declining health, her niece, Julie Bergeron, moved her to Devils Lake in 2018, and was her main caretaker. In March of 2022, Eileen began life in the nursing home until her passing.
She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church for many years.
Eileen was a kind and loving woman, who loved spending time with family and friends. She had a feisty, fun personality and thoroughly loved to tease. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She left behind a lot of happy memories. The family will miss our Camera Queen!
