Eileen Anohea Naboa, 68, of Discovery Harbor, Ka u, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Hilo Benioff Medical Center. She was born on August 20, 1957 in Waipahu. She retired from the Hawai'i Department of Education as a School Food Services Manager. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 22, 2026) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. Aloha attire. Greeted in Heaven by, father, Thomas Takahashi Sr.; mother, Lucille Takahashi; brothers, Richard Makalena, Thomas Takahashi Jr., Roy Takahashi and Dennis Takahashi; sisters, Mahealani Griggs, Madeline Wong, Marion Chun and Debra-Ann Dzonlic. She is survived by, husband, Lambert Naboa of Discovery Harbor, HI; sons, Patrick (Edana) Takahashi of Waipahu, HI, Thomas Naboa of CA and Julian (Aleisha) Naboa of Discovery Harbor, HI; brothers, Bert (Marlene) Takahashi of Nanakuli, HI and Melvin Takahashi of Waipahu, HI; sisters, Nani (Wayne) Nouchi of Waipahu, HI, Davette (Rick) Kawachi of San Diego, CA and Hana (Robert) Cuba of Ewa Beach, HI; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter; 1 hanai nephew; numerous godchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
