Obituary published on Legacy.com by Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home on Apr. 23, 2026.
Eileen G. Pulling, 81, died April 20, 2026, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota after a brief battle with cancer.

Eileen G. Finstad was born May 24, 1944, to George and Elsie (Essington) Finstad in Webster, South Dakota. She grew up near Bradley, South Dakota, and attended Cottonwood 59 Country School. She graduated from Bradley High School in 1962. Following graduation, she moved to Aberdeen, where she worked for several companies.

On October 6, 2001, Eileen married Wesley D. Pulling in Aberdeen, and they made their home there. With this union she gained an instant family of 3 children with their spouses and 6 grandchildren, which grew into 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She loved each of them as her own. She worked for Aman Collection, the Brown County Courthouse and Great Western Bank (which later became First Interstate Bank). Together, Eileen and Wesley enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching game shows, visiting with friends and classmates. She loved spending time with her family. They were members of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Grateful for having shared Eileen's life are her husband Wes Pulling; children: Tammy & Greg Huss, Mark & Leanne Pulling, Chad & Jaime Pulling; grandchildren: Ashley, Michael (Cami), David, Nathan (Lexi), Leah (DJ), Desirae, Noah (Hadley), Alex, Emily, Nicholas, Peter (Skylee), Paul, & Zachary; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings Maxine Lammle and Cheryl (Douglas) Sorrelle; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Preceding Eileen in death are her parents and brother-in-law Chandler Lammle.

A small family service will be/was held Monday, April 27 with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Aberdeen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to local or national cancer foundations, or directed to the family.
