Eileen C. Richard, a remarkable woman of strength, kindness, and determination, bid her final adieu on January 22, 2026. Born on September 9, 1926, in Leominster, MA, to Edmond and Louise Lemire,
She married Francis in 1947 and had 3 children, Ken, Jean and James.
Eileen was always upbeat. Mark Twain once said, "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." For Eileen, her purpose was found in her dedication to her family.
Eileen worked at Whitney carriage in the 40s.
During the 50’s she opened Eileen’s Variety.
In the 70’s spent the summers at their trailer at Hampton Beach with her husband
In the 80’s lost her husband but found a job she loved. She was the ticket taker at Whalom park.
In the tapestry of her life, Eileen was a loving mother who left an indelible mark on the hearts of her sons, James and Ken Richard and daughter Jean. Their memories of her will forever be etched in time, a testament to a life well-lived. Eileen was widowed in the 80 and will be buried next to Francis in Saint Cecilia‘s cemetery. Eileen will forever be remembered for her love, her warmth, and her unyielding spirit.
