Helen “Elaine” Allen, age 84 of Nixa, passed away March 20, 2024. She was born April 17, 1939.
Elaine enjoyed puzzles, taking care of everybody at the Senior Citizens Center in Nixa, and walking the sidewalks greeting everybody.
Survivors include: her daughter in law, Faye Allen of Nixa; brother in law, Floyd Johnson and wife Raylene; grandchildren, Heather Weaver and husband Don, Zeke Kelly, Ike Kelly, Della Kessinger and husband Rusty, Eric Kelly, and Jamie Godfrey; great grandchildren, Vada Weaver, Denver Weaver, Addison Kessinger, Spencer Kesinger, Casey Kessinger, Marisha, and Joey Kelly; and nieces, Lisa and husband Mike and Sherry and husband Glenn.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy Allen; her children; and her siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Jerry Francisco officiating. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
