Mrs. Elaine Sarah Seigler Blackmon

Aiken, SC— A celebration of life service for Mrs. Elaine Seigler Blackmon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Graniteville Community Church of God with Pastor Brandon Key officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dustin Blackmon, Kyle Blackmon, Donnie Blackmon, Peyton Blackmon, Kohler Blackmon, and Lincoln Blackmon. Mrs. Elaine Seigler Blackmon, age 73, entered into rest on October 7, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter to the late Mr. Vincent Seigler and the late Mrs. Pliney Cook Seigler. She an Aiken native, and was a member of Graniteville Community Church of God. She worked as a Lab Technician for 37 ½ years at Avondale, Graniteville Co. and retired in 2016. She loved traveling to the mountains, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Blackmon will be missed greatly by her friends and family. Survivors include: two sons, Scotty (Michele) Blackmon, Swansea, SC and Christopher (Laura) Blackmon, Aynor, SC; one brother Ronnie (Susan) Seigler; two sisters, Vickie Brown, Aiken and Wanda Sheppard, Aiken; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother Donnie Seigler. A visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Pl., Memphis TN, 38105, www.stjude.org.
