Elaine J. Dingle, 53, of Medford formerly of Wakefield died Sunday, August 23 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. Born in Melrose on November 4, 1955 she was the daughter of the late Norman A. and Margaret M. (Cundy) Dingle. Ms. Dingle was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1974. She had been a resident of Medford for the past five years. She is survived by her daughter Meloney Sparks of Medford, her three sons; Douglas Sparks of Arlington, Michael Sparks and Adam Dingle both of Medford, her five brothers; Bob Cunningham of CT, Norman Dingle of Woburn, Alan Dingle of Brookline and Mark Dingle of Wakefield and Lynn Cunningham of FL, her four sisters; Gail Cunningham and Diane DiTonno both of ME, Susan Roberson of NH and Joanne Dingle of Peabody. Ms. Dingle is also survived by her two grandchildren; Ayden Minson and Jeremy Scott. She was predeceased by her son Joshua Scott. A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday at 8pm. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service starting at 5pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elaine J. Dingle Memorial Fund, c/o Wakefield Co-operative Bank 342 Main St, Wakefield, MA 01880
