It is with great sadness that the family of Elaine Eloise Ferrantelli, of Fairview, TX, announce her passing on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Elaine was 78 years old. She was surrounded by her beloved husband Frank and her loving family.

Elaine was born September 9, 1946 in White Plains, NY to the late James Patrick and Mary Uomoleale. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Frank John Ferrantelli, Joseph James Uomoleale Jr. (nephew), JoAnn Watts (niece),Tracy Epstein (niece), Jamie Patricia Brannagan (niece); step children: Frank John Ferrantelli Jr., Terese Mandelbaum, Suzanne Paradis . She was predeceased by her parents: James Patrick and Mary Uomoleale and her brother, Joseph James Uomoleale.

Elaine (aka Ms. U!) knew from a young age that her calling was in the classroom. She earned her Bachelors degree from SUNY Brockport and her Masters degree from Western Connecticut before embarking on a distinguished career that spanned over 35 years at Fulmer Road Elementary School in Mahopac, NY. Beyond the classroom, Elaine enjoyed traveling with her husband, golf, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family. She loved life and lived to the fullest at every turn.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made in Elains memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital using the following link:
