Elaine Williams

Mrs. Elaine Anderson Williams, 76, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. She was born March 16, 1949, in Selmer, TN, to Ira Anderson and Frances Gabbert Anderson. Elaine enjoyed a banking career spanning more than 27 years in the Grenada area, where her warm and likable personality made every customer feel like family. She was a member of First Baptist Church – Grenada and previously served as Director of the Church Nursery, a role she cherished. Deeply committed to her community, Elaine was also a life member of the Junior Auxiliary of Grenada. In her quiet moments, she found joy in caring for her beloved cats, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout the years.

A private family service was held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Elaine was laid to rest beside her husband in the Providence Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Gaylane Williams Blair(David) of Vardaman; brother, Bill Anderson of Grenada and a grandson, Connor Blair.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gaines Williams and a sister, Jean Anderson.
