Elayne Pollard Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels & Cremation Services on Jun. 15, 2025.
Elayne (Zwarick) Pollard of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Theodore (Teddy) Pollard, passed away peacefully at her home on June 14, 4 days shy of her 90th birthday. Elayne was born June 18th, 1935, in Hartford to the late Ethel (Gold) and Michael Zwarick. Elayne and Teddy moved to their home in Enfield in 1958, where she lived for 67 years. As a stay-at-home mom for many years, she eventually began her career at Reddington Counters in Windsor before retiring from Casual Corner.
Elayne and Ted enjoyed many happy years camping with their special group of family and friends. After retirement they loved traveling the country in their motor home and spending winters in Arizona. A devoted and loving mother, grandmother, nana and GG. Her family was her pride and joy.
She leaves her children, Charlene Sirois (Mark Burrington), Stacie LeBlanc, Michele Latulippe (Art), Theodore Pollard Jr., former son-in-law, Denis Sirois, former daughter-in-law, Cathy Pollard. Her grandchildren, Michael Sirois (Rochelle), Bethany Sacerdote, Jessica Balistierri (Nick), David Latulippe (Cassidy), AJ Latulippe (Jocelyn), Andrea LeBlanc, Taylor Pollard and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother Joseph Zwarick (Phyllis) and brother-in-law, Nick Rizzo and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband of 54 years and her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Joanne Biederman and Sharon Rizzo, a granddaughter, Janay LeBlanc as well as many close friends and relatives.
The family would like to thank mom's live in aide, Christy, for the loving care she provided mom over the last year, as well as to the hospice nurses and aides from Vernon Visiting Nurses for their wonderful and compassionate care. A special thank you to Gary Raffia for always looking after mom since the passing of our dad.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Cans for Kids, 113 Raffia Rd., Enfield, CT 06082
