Eldee Wilson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Eldee Wilson, a beloved member of the Tahlequah, Oklahoma community. Eldee was born on August 20, 1926, in Hannah, Oklahoma, and passed away on May 28, 2024, at the age of 97. She was a proud American Indian woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures.
Eldee was known for her love of bingo nights, scouring yard sales for hidden treasures, dancing to country music, and her passion for sewing. She had a giving heart and touched the lives of many in her community.
Eldee is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Martin Bearhead, Charlie Green, Billy Green, Lydia Bearhead, daughters Betty Greenfeather, Minnie Evans, Kathy Vann, and son Joe Green. She is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving family members.
A Funeral Service in honor of Eldee Wilson will be held on June 7, 2024, at 11:00 am at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. A Public Viewing will take place at the same location earlier that day at 9:00 am until service time.Following the service, a burial will be conducted at Meadowbrook Cemetery, 5665 S. 65th Ave., Tulsa, Oklahoma, at 2:00 pm.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Eldee Wilson and remembering the joy and warmth she brought to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
