Elden "Houghie" Walter Hough, born on March 4, 1941, and known for his love of gambling, family, and the great outdoors, left us on November 9, 2025. He was a passionate spirit who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and had a knack for finding joy in the thrill of a game or the beauty of nature.
Elden is remembered fondly and will be greatly missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Hough, along with his brothers, Bob and Curly, and his sister, Mary Jane Gilbraith.
He is survived by his sons, Jeff Hough (Gina) and Tommy Schneider; daughter, Cindy Amos (Jerome); and brother, Bill Hough. His legacy continues through his cherished sisters, Barbara Larsen, Linda Bessant (John), Bonnie Hough, and Nancy Ryan (Don). Elden was a proud grandfather to Jared, Tiffany, and Lillian Hough and a joyful great-grandfather to Elias Brucke.
