Elden Lee "Harm" Miller

Elden Lee "Harm" Miller, 76, of Centerville, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at UPMC Hamot.
He was born on January 4, 1949, in Bedford, OH, a son of the late Raymond and Geraldine (Roth) Miller.
At the age of 10, he and his family moved to Spartansburg in 1959. He graduated from Spartansburg High School in 1967, where he was on the basketball team. He then briefly attended Hesston College in Kansas. Harm then moved back to Spartansburg for a short time and then to Colorado where he worked on a Dairy Farm. In 1971, Harm and his family moved to Union City and later to Centerville. He worked in the gas/pipeline industry for 15 years and later for Raymond Showman for five years. Harm then owned and operated Miller Sand & Gravel from 1999 until his passing.
He was raised Mennonite and attended Riceville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Ray Miller and brother, Rodney Miller.
Harm is survived by his wife, Barbara J. (Morris) Miller, whom he married on June 22, 1968 in Spartansburg, PA; son, Curtis (Deborah Schleicher) Miller of Erie, PA; two daughters-in-law, Melanie Miller of Corry, PA, Melissa Miller of Edinboro, PA; two sisters, Karen (Marshall) Shreve of Union City, PA and Kaye (Sidney) Johnson of Spartansburg, PA; sister-in-law, Rebecca Miller of Centerville, PA and three brothers, James Miller of Missouri, Russell (Elizabeth) Miller of Spartansburg, PA and Chris (Kym) Miller of Union City, PA.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Nicolas (Liz) Miller, Chloe Rougeau, Quinn, Justus and Catrina Miller and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at Valley View Mennonite Church, 24313 PA-89 & 77, Spartansburg, PA 16434 on Thursday, December 4th from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8pm. A funeral service will be held there Friday, December 5th at 11 am. Pastor Robb Esh will officiate.
Burial will be in Riceville Cemetery, Centerville, PA.
