Elder J.B. Shoulders, age 91 of Lafayette, TN passed away Friday evening, October 17, 2025 at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Elder J.B. is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.

Funeral Services for Elder J.B. Shoulders will be conducted Monday afternoon, October 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Shawn Shepherd & Elder Todd Austin officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

Family request memorials be made to Remi Gray Shoulders’ Education Fund. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by: wife, Roberta Wilburn Shoulders; parents, Claude & Dorch (Oldham) Shoulders; brother, Bill Shoulders.

Survivors include: sons, Mickey Shoulders, Rick Shoulders & wife, Beverly; grandchildren, Josh and Brooke Shoulders; great-granddaughter, Remi Gray Shoulders all of Lafayette; brothers, Bobby “LuLu” Shoulders of Gallatin, James “Slick” Shoulders & wife, Sue of Greenbrier; sisters, Sylvia Hibdon of Clarksville, Elberta Bernett of Springfield, Faye Fowler of Florida, Betty Cothron of Greenbrier, Edwina Southerland of Cleveland, Mary Roberts of Lebanon; sisters-in-law, Linda Pharris & husband, Joe, Sandy Willoughby all of Lafayette.
