Jacqueline Bothwell
September 28, 2017
Dr. Foltz was my son's neurosurgeon. In 1989 my son Scottie Bothwell was born. His head had grown 3" in a couple of months and he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. As a young couple it was so overwhelming and terrifying to hear this since I've never heard the medical tern before. We found Dr. Foltz and he treated our son and we even appeared with him at a convention regarding his medical condition. Dr. Foltz was kind and the only doctor that would answer his phone. Pretty unheard of. I can always remember him saying "believe in God" because only he can determine what will become of Scottie. Fast forward my son is handicapped but he's very aware and loving. He had a multitude of issues but they hydrocephalus was never an issue and maintained. He still has his "zero pressure" shunt in place. I have tears as I write this because I so fondly remember Dr. Foltz and i just saw this regarding his death. I'm sorry for your loss and the loss of so many patients and people he helped. God Bless you Dr. Foltz
