Eldon Robert Miller passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, in Lubbock,TX.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Elmwood Funeral Home, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas. Interment will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 South, Abilene, Texas.
He was born on December 11, 1947, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to his parents, Robert and Arlene Miller. Eldon was a proud veteran, having honorably served his country in the Army. Throughout his life, he was known for his infectious sense of humor and ability to connect with anyone he met, never meeting a stranger.
He found joy in many activities, including playing pool, fishing, and cruising on his motorcycle. Above all else, Eldon treasured time spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories with each of them.
He is survived by his children, Shane Miller, Michelle Draper, Sarah Hardage, and Kelsey Miller; his 5 grandchildren; his sister, Sally Mullins and many other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Miller; his mother, Arlene Miller; his wife, Alice Faye Miller; and sister, Donna Carter- Smith.
He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
