Eldon Wright Obituary
He was born on April 1, 1944, in Success, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Curless) Wright.
Eldon was united in marriage to Sharon June Holifield on September 4, 2004.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Jean Carden, Eulalia Wright, and Vadalia Wright; brothers: Don Wright, Bob Wright, and Tommy Wright; daughter, Sherrie Wright.
Eldon had a love for music since the age of 4 years old. He sang with various groups and individually throughout his life. Many have enjoyed his talent over the years.
Eldon is survived by his wife, Sharon Wright; sons, Darin Wright and Joey Wright of Paragould, Arkansas; daughter, Lauren Wright; stepdaughters, LaTonya Schreck and husband Steve of Harrisburg, Arkansas, and Carol Cantu of Oklahoma; sisters, Ollie Foster of Piggott, Arkansas, and Alma (Tom) Sims of Piggott, Arkansas; brothers: Marlin (Sandy) Wright of Piggott, Arkansas, and Marvin (Glenda) Wright; host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 3, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Mike Akers officiating. Burial is in Cummins Chapel Cemetery near Pollard, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
