Eleanor Fuschillo

Eleanor (Suppa) Fuschillo passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and an unforgettable spirit. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, and professional, Eleanor lived her life with determination, warmth, and a feisty mindset that all who knew her cherished.
Eleanor was deeply loved by her late husband, Anthony Fuschillo, to whom she was married for over fifty years. Eleanor is reunited with her cherished daughters Marlena Carloni and Victoria Gabriele who remained forever and always in her heart. She is survived by her loving daughter, Toni Anne Lordigyan who was a constant source of pride and comfort. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Samantha Gabriele, Lewis Gabriele, Jessica Carloni, Anthony Lordigyan, Garry Carloni and Nicole Sepulveda. Eleanor left behind three great grandchildren, Vivienne, Alexandria and Olivia Gabriele.
Outside of a successful banking career, Eleanor knew how to enjoy life. She loved playing cards, especially with family and friends, and took great joy in trips to Atlantic City, where she happily spent hours playing the slot machines. She found comfort and purpose in crocheting blankets for loved ones. These moments brought her excitement and countless treasured memories.
Eleanor will be remembered as feisty yet deeply loving-strong-willed, loyal, and always full of heart. Her unforgettable quick wit and sharp humor filled every room with smiles and laughter. Above all else is her lasting legacy of unwavering love for family and friends. She leaves behind a lasting imprint on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 9:30am.
