We are thinking of you, Michael, and send prayers and hugs.
Up until the age of five I lived next-door to your mother and her sister. We moved when I was five because my mother remarried after my father died. I remember your mother and her sister as teenagers at that time, and I thought that they were adults! Actually, it wasn't until I was married with children of my own that the commonality field leveled a bit...
Your mother was very elegant, always beautifully, dressed and stylish. I am sure you probably have those same memories.
Sometime we should try to get together with the existing Minkin clan and share old memories.

Today we remember a woman, Eleanor Goldman, who touched our lives so differently, in countless ways. Though my words feel inadequate, please hold onto the memories that keeps Eleanor's spirit alive in your hearts.
Michael & Amy, please always remember the laughter she shared, the wisdom she offered, and the love given so freely to you both. The little moments and the big milestones, all woven together into a life that mattered deeply to those fortunate enough to know your mom, Eleanor.
Elenore's kindness, strength, and the unique light she brought to this world will not be forgotten. The lessons she taught you, both spoken and unspoken, continue to guide you both forward.
While grief reminds us of what we've lost, it also reflects how much they meant to us. In the quiet moments, in familiar places, and in the values they instilled in you both, her presence remains.
Amy and Michael please carry them with you, not in sadness alone, but in gratitude for the time you had together and the love that endures beyond goodbye. She will always be be with US!!
Rest peacefully Eleanor. You are loved. You are missed. You are remembered.
