Eleanor A. Grove

Eleanor A. Grove, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother left this world on March 22, 2025, at the age of 91 in Spring Mills, PA. Born on February 2, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, Eleanor lived a life full of cherished moments and unwavering love for her family.

Eleanor was predeceased by her parents Albert and Eleanor Smith Leach, her beloved husband William B. Grove, Jr., and her son William B. Grove, III. She is survived by her children Kathleen Grove of Langhorne, PA, Bryan (Tara) Grove of Spring Mills, PA, and Eric (Jennifer) Grove of northeastern PA. Eleanor's family was the cornerstone of her existence, as she truly enjoyed being a homebody, surrounded by those she loved.

Eleanor always found her bliss in crafting, needlepoint, crocheting, and petit point. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she was a dedicated gardener, finding joy in nurturing the earth and watching things bloom. Eleanor's caring spirit extended beyond her immediate family; she took great pride in being a steadfast caregiver, showering love on her grandchildren—Nigel, Owen, Vaughn, Micah, and Karlyn—and celebrating every moment spent with them. Her legacy continues with several great-grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.

Eleanor was one of five sisters, and her twin sisters, Linda and Susan, along with her sister Eileen, would affectionately recall the bond they shared with her. The depth of her love and care made her the bedrock of her family, a true matriarch whose influence will resonate through generations.

In remembrance of Eleanor A. Grove, visitation will be held on March 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, both taking place at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, 41 W. Trenton Avenue in Morrisville, PA. Following the service, her interment will be at Morrisville Cemetery at 11:45 AM.

Though she has left us physically, Eleanor's spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those who loved her. Her nurturing nature and passion for creating beauty in simple things will continue to inspire and bring warmth to those who knew her.  She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
