Eleanor (Hulsair) Leidig, 87, of Kingston died Wednesday July 5, 2023. Born January 15, 1936 in White Plains to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Collins) Hulsair. Eleanor graduated from White Plains High School in June of 1952. She was married to the late Charles L. Leidig. She was kind and devoted to her family members. A loving daughter, wife, sister and aunt. Eleanor and her late sister, Edna started to look into the family history and genealogy in the 1990's and enjoyed finding information on many generations of family. Surviving are her nieces Elizabeth "Liz" Hulsiar and her fiance William Clarke; Patricia (William) Cook and "almost niece" Ellen Cooney, stepsons Don and Carl Leidig. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother Raymond Hulsair, sister Edna Hulsair, niece Winifred Hulsair, and "special cousins" Mildred Maberly and Dorothy Cooney. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston. www.jvleahyfh.com. Friends will be received at the funeral home Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. A procession will form at the funeral home Monday at 9 am.
