Eleanor M. Luksza, age 86 years, of Flemington, NJ (Delaware Township), died Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, September 9, 1936, daughter of the late Charles W. and Marcia May Kennedy Watson, she had resided in Delaware Township since 1963.
A graduate of Bound Brook High School, she was formerly employed by Revlon, Inc. and since 1963 was a homemaker and farmer on the family farm in Delaware Township.
Eleanor had a "green thumb" and enjoyed gardening, especially growing varieties of flowers and vegetables to give to her friends. She also loved tending to her animals including her turkeys, chickens, cows, and pigs. Even into her 70's she still enjoyed bailing hay with her family on the farm.
Eleanor was a member of the Senior Citizens, Easton PA where she participated in its' activities.
Her husband, Eugene Luksza, died in 2000 and a son, Edward Luksza, died in 2001. She was also pre-deceased by two brothers, Robert Watson and John Watson.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Marina Luksza of Hellertown, PA and David and Kelly Luksza of Flemington, NJ; three grandsons, Joshua, Jake and Ryan Luksza; a sister, Virginia Picot of Venice, FL and a brother, Tom Watson of Florida.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 12 Noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday, 10:00 AM-12 Noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 1100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
