Eleanor MacDonnell Obituary
Rosary service will be held on Tuesday February 10, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Chapel at Holy Sepulchre Funeral Center. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday February 11, 2026, at 12:00 noon, at St. Clement's Catholic Church in Hayward, burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery with reception to follow from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Catholic Charities of the East Bay, Development Department, 433 Jefferson Street, Oakland, CA 94607.

Eleanor MacDonnell was my piano teacher in Alameda for 10+ years in my youth. All I know about playing piano started with her lessons. I also got my first puppy from a litter of her dog Fifi! Her daughter Mary, who pre-deceased her, was in my grammar school class. I'm glad she lived a long rich life. She will be remembered fondly!
