Eleanor Faye Bookhart Miller, 80 of Seneca, S.C., died on Saturday, October 18, 2025 surrounded by her beloved family. Faye will long be remembered for her devotion to her Christian faith, family, and community service.A memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church of Seneca, 504 South Oak Street at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Bookhart Family Cemetery in Elloree, SC. Pallbearers will be Todd Williams, Martin Williams, Michael Borgstedt, Walter Fogle, Mark Shirer, and Wilson Perkins. Arrangements will be handled by Davenport Funeral Home of Seneca and Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg.Faye was born in Norway, South Carolina a daughter of the late James Carlyle Williams, Sr. and late Lois Eleanor Martin Williams. She is survived by her husband, David Miller; son, James Hunt Bookhart, Elloree; grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Bookhart, Herndon, Virgina; Jordan Bookhart-Holderfield (Will), Raleigh, North Carolina; Faith Riley Bookhart, Elloree; Owen Grayson Bookhart, Elloree; and Katelyn Cross Bookhart, Elloree; great-grandson: Wesley Bookhart-Holderfield; sister, Sandra Kaye Borgstedt; brothers, Bragg Martin Williams, Sr. (Salley) and Todd Funchess Williams (Angie); nieces,Sandra Elise Borgstedt, Julie Trimakas (Todd), Laura Williams Broussard (Keagan); nephews, Lee Peppers(Katherine), Bragg Martin Williams, Jr. (Crystal), Michael Carlyle Borgstedt, and Colson James Williams; eleven great nieces and nephews as well as many beloved cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, William Burden Bookhart, Jr.; son, William Burden Bookhart, III; and brother, James Carlyle Williams, Jr.A graduate of the public schools of Norway, she received an undergraduate degree from Columbia College and a master's degree in nutrition from South Carolina State University. For many years, Faye was a partner with her late husband in WB Bookhart Jr. Farms and a mercantile store in downtown Elloree as part of the town's revitalization efforts. The Bookhart Farms multi-generational legacy passed down to their son, James Hunt Bookhart. Faye was appointed to serve on the boards of the Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties, serving terms as chair, South Carolina Hospital Association, and South State Bank's Elloree-Santee Advisory Committee.The family offers a special thanks to caregivers Tami Burford, Kelly Hulsey, Madison Boyd, Martina Wright and Janice Cobb as well as those from Crescent Hospice.Memorials may be made to the William B.
