Eleanor (Elly) Grace Reeves
May 28, 1941 – July 15, 2025
Eleanor "Elly" Grace Reeves entered into eternal rest on July 15, 2025, at the age of 84. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and family that touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Born on May 28, 1941, Elly was the cherished daughter of Louis and Anna Nasdeo, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Frances Holeman, and two beloved grandsons, David Allen Heinig and Anthony Edward Sallas.
Elly shared 58 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Freddie Reeves. Together, they built a life centered around love, family, and togetherness. She is survived by Freddie and their children: LuAnn Heinig; Pete (Kristi) Sallas; Christina (Osita) Streiff Oji; Danny (Cindi) Reeves; Fred Reeves; and her beloved sister, Antoinette (Guy) Kinley.
Elly was a proud and loving grandmother to Jamie Sallas, Morgan (Luis) Sallas, Daniel (Natasha) Reeves, Adam (Lauren) Reeves, Bradley (Loreal) Reeves, Kyle Heinig, Nicholas Streiff and Andrew Streiff; and a great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. She also leaves behind many dear friends who became family over the years.
Elly was born in New Jersey but spent most of her life in California where she graduated from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, California in 1959. She moved to Oklahoma in 2002, where she lived ever since. She found joy in simple pleasures-bowling, crafting, and being a member of the Red Hat Society. But nothing compared to the joy she found in her family. Elly's home was the heart of every holiday, family gathering, and reunion. Her famous lasagna was always on the table, and her door was always open.
Throughout the years, many people came to live with the family, each one welcomed with the same love and warmth she gave her own. To Elly, everyone was family. She stayed connected to friends and relatives across the country, never missing a chance to send love, share a laugh, or make someone feel special. Elly adored her beloved dogs, Frankie and Oliver, and carried a spirit that was strong, courageous, loving, and endlessly kind.
Elly's legacy is one of fierce devotion to family, unwavering love, and a life lived with a full and generous heart. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to be part of her life.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor Elly's life at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the Chapel at Green Hill Funeral Home & Cemetary at 400 Teel Road, Sapulpa, Oklahoma 74066 followed by a luncheon at La Margarita, 1215 New Sapulpa Rd., Sapulpa, Oklahoma 74066.
