Eleanor Walker Obituary
Eleanor Lee Walker, 81, of Aurora, a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Eleanor was born to Elmer James Norwood and Myrtle Lee Kirkpatrick on April 1, 1944 in Goree, Texas. She was united in marriage to George Walker in July 1966, he later went to be with the Lord in November of 2011. She was a homemaker through and through, her family was her priority in life regardless of whatever else was going on. Eleanor’s Faith was very strong and she made sure she raised her kids in a religious environment. She enjoyed sewing and crafting during her free time along with providing anything her family needed. She will be greatly missed and her memories cherished.
She was preceded in death by her Husband George Walker and her sister Jean Michlitsch.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son Tony Walker of Aurora, Tx, her daughter Stephanie Nickens and husband Michael of Aurora, Tx; her grandsons Keith Nickens and wife Hayley of Boyd, Tx, Walker Nickens and wife Hannah of Newark, Tx and Riley Nickens of Aurora, Tx; her great grandsons Asher NIckens and Cooper Nickens of Boyd, Tx; Her brothers Floyd Norwood of Rhome, Tx, Rex Norwood of Rhome, Tx and Dale Norwood and wife Pam of Granbury, Tx. Along with numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
