Eleanore M. Philbin

Eleanore M. Philbin, 64, of Lansdale, died Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Michael Philbin, her husband of 38 years.

Born June 25, 1961 in Warminster, she was a daughter of the Helen (Kenney) Gash, of Warminster, and the late William H. Gash.

Eleanore was a longtime parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lansdale. She was employed with Neshaminy Manor for over 35 years, retiring in 2021. Above all else, Eleanore will be remembered for her dedication to her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, William Edwards (Heather) of Colmar, Dawn Jackson (Donnell) of Chesapeake, VA, Michelle Eichner (Michael) of Glenside, Candice Budinko (Matthew) of Lansdale, and Crystal Klaski (Michael) of East Greenville; 15 grandchildren with one more on the way; three sisters, Deborah Long (Curt) of Tampa, FL, Denise Long (Mark) of Orlando, FL, and Mary Cabral (Manny) of Hatboro; and two brothers, John Gash and Robert Gash, both of Warminster.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother, William Gash.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Eleanore's memory to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
