I always loved being around Aunt Elease. She had that wonderful calm spirit but her humor and intelligence shone through. I was so happy when she moved to Brandon Wilde so I could visit her everytime I visited my parents.... Her brother and sister in love. When I walked into her apartment she was usually sitting in her chair so she could see her birds and have good light to read and do her puzzles by. She made me feel so special. No doubt she was crazy about her family. One of my last memories of her was holding her latest great grand baby and how much joy that gave her. AND I cherish her "interviews" that my brother recorded. Her advice? Don´t worry, don´t compare and eat chocolate!

I knew Miss Elease from her volunteering at University Hospital in the Nicu, I am a retired nurse from there and was always glad to see Miss Elease walk in to rock a baby or help put linings out for the nurses to use, she was always helpful. I am so sorry for your loss she often spoke of her grandkids

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Elease was a remarkable lady and will be missed beyond words.

I was never privileged to know Elease, but I have had several occasions to speak with her daughter, Jane. What a wonderful woman and mother she must have been, and I know she will be sorely missed. I will be praying for her Jane and the many family members in the days ahead, that they might know Christ and his comfort.
