Electa "Sally" E. Lilla, a beloved figure to all who knew her, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Union, Kentucky, at the age of 93. Born on December 29, 1931, in Kabletown, West Virginia, Sally was well-loved and had a knack for making friends everywhere she went; she truly never met a stranger.

Sally had a passion for cooking and baking that filled her home with wonderful aromas and delicious treats. She was known for her beautiful wedding cakes, which she made for family and friends, and her Christmas pies, cookies, and cakes became cherished staples during the holiday season. She loved doing hair, often giving perms to her grandchildren, sharing both her skills and her love in a way that created lasting memories. She worked at the Perfection Garment Company with her mother as a seamstress.

While Sally never drove herself, she always found a way to get wherever she needed to go, showcasing her determination and resourcefulness throughout her life.

Sally's proudest accomplishment was her family. She is survived by her son, James E. (Becky) Lilla; her sister, Frances M. Longerbeam; her grandsons, Curtis L. Lilla and Anthony V. Lilla; her granddaughters, Jennifer L. Yelvington and Sonya A. Conrad; and her great-grandchildren, Keaton L. Conrad, Kolston J. Conrad, Kenlee R. Yelvington, Xander C. Lilla, and Xayden G. Lilla, as well as a host of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Lilla; her son, William V. Lilla; her father, William H. Hough; her mother, Susan E. Hough (nee Popkins); her brothers, William H. Hough, Jr. and George M. Hough; and her sister, Mary V. Hough Mercer.

Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her loved ones will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Donations in lieu of flowers are suggested to Shenandoah Memorial United Methodist Church, 436 Millville Road Box A-10, Millville, West Virginia 25432 or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
