Elena was born on March 11, 1954 in San Diego, California, the third child of Rafael and Maria Munoz. Elena was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Paredes, her parents Rafael and Maria Munoz. Elena L.M. Paredes is survived by her three children, sons Anthony P. Paredes and wife Rebecca, Francisco Paredes and wife Michele, and daughter Angela M. Paredes (Daniel). Elena is also survived by six grandchildren, Francisco X., Augustine, Cecilia, Maximilian, Lucia, Diego, and her brothers Rafael Munoz (Debra), Enrique Munoz, Catalina Redman and many loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Oceanside Mortuary 602 South Coast Hwy., Oceanside, CA 92054, on Tuesday, October 28,2025 from 5pm-8pm, with a Rosary service at 6pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Historic Old Mission San Luis Rey Church 4050 Mission Ave., Oceanside, CA 92057 on Wednesday, October 29,2025 at 1:30 pm.
