I was a Peace Corps colleague of Elsie. I actually lived in the servant quarters behind the house she and Jackie shared in Indore, India. So sorry to learn of her death. I last saw her at our Santa Fe reunion. RIP Ellie, Gary Lowe

We met in India and you became my bridesmaid when Peter and I were married there. Our bond deepened over the years when you visited and lived with our family in Pennsylvania. I admired your academic abilities. You enjoyed our children.
Peter & I visited you in Austin. When you met, fell in love with and married Stephen I was glad to be your Maid of honor.
