Eli met Hazel (Kelley) El in May 1989 and they were married July 3, 1999. They were blessed with four children; two grandchildren; and one grandson on the way.
He is survived by four sons, Erik L. El of Watseka, Alex R. (Alycen) El of Abilene, TX (where he is currently surviving in the United States Air Force) along with their daughter, Murphie El and another son on the way; Brandon El of Watseka, and Eli R. El Jr of Bourbonnais and his daughter, Ayva Jo El of Watseka and her mother (the El Family Bonus Daughter), Jessie R. Kochenberger of Watseka.
The news of their father's tragic death to these four young men have left them scrambling to find a way to pay for his funeral costs.
