Eli was the best cousin I could have ever asked for he would always make me laugh. Him and I would play on his quarter pipe but he would do cool tricks while I would go half way up and ride down my butt.

Dear Katy and Jason. I am up in Canada this week but still pray for both of you and miles so often - how hard it must be to get thru each day. 'Courage doesn't always roar..it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying I will get up and try again tomorrow' I wish u a multitude of courage for your tomorrows and will keep praying for you both and Miles. Just thinking of you all tonight and want you to know that I continue to lift you up in prayer. Prayer of strength to keep his spirit alive, prayer for support in your daily lives and prayers of peace in your hearts. Although my sophomores Cecil & Jolie only knew Eli a short time at Ryan we will ALWAYS hold a special place in our hearts for him and all of you.

I just heard about Eli this afternoon. I cannot even imagine the overwhelming grief and loss you are experiencing. I did not have the pleasure of seeing Eli for many years, but by what I have read about him, Eli was a special, special person. I will pray for you and all of the family, asking Jesus to hold you close to Him, and comfort you now, and in the days and years that follow. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I did not know Eli closely, but knew him through the Rayhab family. Their daughter and I would drive a certain way home from FRHS when we were in high school so she could stop and say hi to him and Miles. They would chase us on their skateboards and joke with us through the car windows.
