Eli is survived by his sister, Margaret Hernandez; brothers, Andrew Bear Shield and Bervin Brings Plenty; nieces & nephews, Raymond Hernandez, Dannion Brings Plenty, and Rhiannon (Jose) Velazquez; god daughter, Consuela (Jesse) Rossow; grandchildren, Jakira (Joe Merrival) Velazquez, Daniel (Cydnie) Velazquez, Benjamin Velazquez, Suzanna Velazquez, Jaden Roubideaux, Robert Loftus, Jr., and Bishop MeDeles; and great granddaughter, Cali Merrival.
Eli was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Bear Shield, Sr. and Suzanna (Bad Heart Bull) Brings Plenty; sister, Anna Bear Shield; brother, Clayton Brings Plenty; maternal grandparents, Eli Bad Heart Bull & Cecelia (Left Hand Bear) Bad Heart Bull, his friends Nancy Perez, Theresa Red Cloud, Guy Red Cloud.
