Elijah James Harts

Elijah James Harts, beloved son, father, brother, and friend was born in Salinas, California on December 31, 1995 and passed away October 31, 2025 in Santa Clarita, California. Elijah was raised in Bakersfield, California where his warm spirit and determination began to shine early in life.

Elijah made history as the first barber to graduate from Santa Clarita. He brought his incredible talent and joyful energy to Supreme Fades Barbershop, where his clients quickly became family. With every haircut and every conversation, Elijah touched hearts and built connections that will never be forgotten.

Elijah is survived by his loving son, Giovanni Dennell Harts; (Berlin Panduro, Giovanni's mother) his devoted mother, Melissa Solomon, and stepfather, Bilal Solomon; his father, Jermain Harts; his brother Kenneth Mosley Jr.; and his sisters, Nickii Massie-Harts, Ashanti Harts, Tanysha Harts, Jasmine Harts, and Sabrina Harts. He is also survived by his grandparents Pat and Joe Serrano, great-grandmother Josephine Serrano, grandfather Terrell Harts, and a host of cousins, uncles, aunts, and cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister Genise Dennell Harts, his paternal grandmother Deborah Reece, his maternal great-grandfathers Raul Serrano and Daniel Mora. His maternal great grandmother Josefina Mora, and paternal great-grandmothers Mary Forbes and Joan Reece.

Beyond his craft as a barber, Elijah (Yung Eliii) was a gifted rapper and storyteller, using music to express his soul and inspire others. He turned his life around for his son, Giovanni, whom he adored more than anything. Elijah's dedication, optimism, and humor made him a light in every room. He was proud of his accomplishments, including his recent travels to Miami and his unforgettable trip to the World Series with his boss and father figure, Jose Ovalle.

Elijah will be remembered for his infectious smile, his big heart, and his unwavering loyalty to his friends. He never passed anyone by without offering a warm word, a laugh, or a helping hand. His spirit will continue to live on in all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Elijah is leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and inspiration. Though his time here was too short, the love Elijah shared and the joy he spread will remain forever.
