Elisa Fallaria Fleenor died on August 23, 2012 in Houston Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband George Herbert Fleenor whom she had lived with, a life committed to service: To God and humanity. She has been a missionary to many parts of the world and in her private and official capacity, has been to over a one hundred countries on top of being a missionary in many parts of America. She spent the last chapters of her life in Houston as a Registered Nurse at the Veterans Medical Center, and as a strong pillar of the Fil-Am International Church of the Seventh-day Adventist Church , whom she and her late husband, Herbert had pioneered. Her focus was always on the youth--- leading them to Christ, thus had been a director of the Pathfinder Club for many years until her health failed, but continued to be their adviser. Ate Ellie or Ate Lisa as she was fondly called was born on September1, 1934 at Lucena City, Quezon Province, Philippines to the late Pablo Fallaria,Sr. & Gleceria Aledo Fallaria. She finished her Graduate Nurse Degree from Philippine Union College now known as the Adventist University of the Philippines and her Clinical training at the Manila Sanitarium & Hospital then finished her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Arizona State University. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crafts, singing and shopping. She is also remembered for her loud & contagious laughter and the elegance of carrying herself. She is survived by: HER FAMILY Brother Pablo Fallaria,Jr. & wife Mercy & their son, Eugene Faye Brother Nonilon Fallaria,Jr. & wife Cora & their family Rey Nilzon Fallaria and wife Jenny & children Jacklyn & Mateo Michael Ian Fallaria Cherry Ann Fallaria Jordon & husband Matthew Jordon & children, Grady & Alannah Sister Delia Fallaria Musa & husband Manuel & her family Joy, Amor, Angel & Mandy Musa Jane Musa Adriano & husband Ricky Adriano Sister Belinda Fallaria Falogme & husband Pods Falogme & their son, Paul HERBERTS FAMILY Daughter Joy Fleenor Carbajal & her daughter Denyse Carbajal Nation & husband Tim Nation & their Children Jilian & Kassandra Nation Daughter Nancy Fleenor Nelson & Husband Bloyce Nelson & their children Mark, Christy Nelson Crook & Maksin Crook Sister-in-law Jane Turnige Sister-in-Law- Florence DeShazo She will surely be missed and remembered by a host of family, relatives, & friends as well as by the family of her second husband, the late, Rolando Legarda. Viewing will be on Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 4pm-7pm at the Fil-Am International Seventh-day Adventist Church of Houston, (6007 Queenston Blvd., Houston, TX 77084) to be followed by a religious service from 7pm-8:30 PM. Interment will be at the Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, Texas 75243 on Sunday, September2, 2012 at 1PM.
