Elisabeth Stauffer

Elisabeth Stauffer, 84, of Wooster, died Sunday, May 19, 2024 at her residence.

Lisa was born March 5, 1940 in Augsburg, Germany to Franz and Maria {Grunler} Schmidbaur.

She married Robert Stauffer on February 21, 1959. He died January 26, 2017. 

She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. Lisa was loved by many and was an avid golfer having 3 hole-in-ones, and enjoyed playing Tennis and Pickleball. She enjoyed volunteering at Wooster Community Hospital for many years.

Lisa will be deeply missed by her children Dennis and Lisa, and their spouses, Judy and Jeffrey; six grandchildren whom she loved dearly Linsey, Ashley, Kaley, Bobby, Sara, and Jacob; great-grandchildren Camden, Isla, Finn, Luca, Miles, Navie, Evelyn, Kasen, Rosalie and one on the way; sister Marianne Hartley; and several nieces and nephews.

Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters and one brother.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Elisabeth-Stauffer) with Rev. Dr. Kevan Franklin officiating.
