ELISE HUGHES

Fond memories in my old age had me Google Elise's name. Albeit 14 yrs too late. We went to Marymount together, played field hockey and became friends. She was a bridesmaid of mine. Just a ching out spoken young woman that I remember fondly.

Elise, yhank you for sharing the gift of Buddy❤ Buddy passed July 2020 at the age of 16. Buddy lived a full, happy and adventurous life, hopefully he is having adventures with you❤

I think of Elise from time to time, now that we live so close to the beach. She was a “water girl.” Rest easy on that distant shore, Elise, and know that your memory is alive in even those of us who didn’t know you all that well.

It was a pleasure to meet you Elise! Buddy Is doing great.

Many years ago, I spent one memorable week with Elise and her (and my) good friend Janice Busic. Elise was quite a card--such caustic wit! And she could cook like a professional chef. I never spent any other time with her but often heard from Janice of their travel adventures. I am grateful for all the joy Elise brought into my friend's life.

The Board and Staff of Fan Free Clinic extend their sympathy to Elise's family and friends at this time of loss. We wish you comfort and peace in the days ahead.

You have found your peace. We were never at a loss for words when we were together. Or we could just sit quietly looking out over the water from your porch at The Swamp! After 54 years of friendship, I will miss you terribly. Rest in peace, my friend.

Elise and I were good friends & neighbors for many years, raising our daughters together, here in Deerwood. I am shocked & saddened to learn of her passing. Brew Pearson
