Elise Brown Parrish

Elise Brown Parrish, 73, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, February 3, 2024, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Pastor Luke Smith officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Parrish was born May 18, 1950, in Bleckley County, Georgia, to the late Peter Festus & Maude Durance Brown. She worked as a waitress and also as a lab technician grading peanuts. She loved growing flowers in her garden and gathering with family for a fish fry. She also mastered her Alexa and would talk to it all day long.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kent Parrish of Fitzgerald; daughter, Janet Adams of Fitzgerald; son, Ray & Kelly Adams of Huson, Montana; grandchildren: Lisa Williams, Tristan Phillips, Jamie & Kensly Swaynos, Travis Phillips, Jace Adams, and Madison Swaynos; great-grandchildren: Tyler Williams and Lane Williams; a sister, Sheila Hodges of Loganville; and a brother, Henry Brown of Conyers.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the nurses and staff of Traditions Hospice for their caring and compassionate care of Mrs. Parrish.
