Elizabeth L. Anderson, 76, wife of Johnnie S. Anderson, Jr., died Friday, October 7, 2022, at McLeod Hospice House.
Mrs. Anderson was born on August 25, 1946, in Florence County, daughter of the late B.K. Langston and Syble Timmons Langston. She attended Lake City First Baptist Church, where she was the former treasurer of the Dorcas Bible Class. Mrs. Anderson also attended Cades United Methodist Church. She was awarded Lake City Steel Magnolia in 2015. Mrs. Anderson was also a member of Sumter Home Chapter-National Society of the DAR.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Johnnie S. Anderson, Jr, are her children, Johnnie S. Anderson, III of Lake City, Pam Anderson of Manning, Jennifer A. Hanna of Lake City and Joye A. (Welby) Fowler of Lexington; grandchildren, Catelyn Anderson, Hunter Hanna, Logan Hanna, Farrah Fowler, Ava Grace Fowler, and Dallas Fowler; siblings, Claire Langston of Florence and Alice (Rev. Lloyd) Ackerman of Lake City.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Samuel Hanna.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Graham Cemetery, Cades.
