Elizabeth Bayless Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sweet Home Funeral Chapel on Mar. 4, 2026.
Elizabeth S. Bayless, 64, passed away on March 1, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a legacy of warmth, kindness, and strength.

Elizabeth was the kind of person who made people feel welcome the moment they met her. She had a natural warmth and a willingness to help others that touched the lives of many. She believed that family extended beyond blood, and anyone who spent time with her quickly felt like they were part of it.

She loved all animals, especially giraffes, and enjoyed the simple joys of life-music playing, laughter filling the room, and spending time surrounded by family. Making sure the people she loved were cared for meant everything to her.

Elizabeth always checked in on the people she loved if she hadn't heard from them in a while, just to make sure they were okay. She made sure everyone had enough to eat and that no one ever felt left out. Her home and her heart were always open.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Bayless; her sons, Keith Alvarez, Kevin Vasquez, and Christopher Vasquez; and her daughters, Allison Himebaugh and Alysa Himebaugh. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Ethan, Illias, Skyler, Cameron, Jazmyne, Colton, Sophia, Evelynn, and Gabrielle, who brought her tremendous joy.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her compassion, her strength, and the deep love she shared with those around her. Her presence brought comfort and laughter to many, and she will be missed beyond words.

To her husband Jason, Elizabeth was not only a wife but his best friend, the person who brought color, warmth, and meaning into his world. She was also the love of his life. When he thinks of her, he sees the twinkle in her eyes, her beautiful smile, and the love she shared with everyone through every smile.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
