Obituary published on Legacy.com by Absolute Economical Funeral Home LLC on Feb. 17, 2026.
Elizabeth Joann Stucker was born on May 5, 1936, and passed away at the age of 89 on Monday,

February 16, 2026.

She is survived by her four daughters and their husbands: Francine and Bud Wilson; Bonita and

Bernie Styers; LaDonna and Gary Loveland; and Sherrie and Charlie Seitz. She is also survived

by eight grandchildren and their spouses: Kenny and Sara Wilson; Apryl Wilson; Alex and Jenny

Styers; Grant and Alicia Styers; Stephanie Willis; Shanna Tucker; Jessica Seitz and Ryan

Fanning; and Jared and Anna Seitz; fourteen great-grandchildren: Anna and Boston Christy;

Avery Wilson; Stella and Dylan Styers; Rosalyn Fanning; Wyatt and Sadie Seitz; Dylan

Wiginton; Dalton and Brittany Wiginton; Jesse and Meagan Wiginton; and Will, Andrea, and

Kylie Willis; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Francis Stucker; one sister; and two

brothers.

Joann grew up in Higgins, Texas, where she later married her childhood friend Francis Leon

Stucker on August 28, 1953. While Francis was serving in the Army, they moved to his duty

station at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. They lived there for two years, during which their first daughter,

Francine, was born.

Shortly afterward, Joann and her family moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma, where their

daughters Bonita, LaDonna, and Sherrie were born. Joann was a devoted homemaker who

operated an in-home daycare for over 30 years, providing care to more than 100 children. She

was an accomplished seamstress who kept her four daughters beautifully clothed and sewed for

many friends and clients over the years, often providing much-needed clothing as gifts.

In her later years, she became an accomplished quilter, creating over 650 beautiful quilts, many

given to family and friends. She also taught weekly quilting classes at Luther Vo-Tech, Choctaw

Vo-Tech, and at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene.

Joann was a member of Midwest City First Church of the Nazarene for 19 years, Bresee Church

of the Nazarene for 18 years, and Choctaw Church of the Nazarene for the past 33 years. She

accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Her life was a reflection of her

faith, and she put God first every day. Almost every Sunday after church services, the family

hosted visitors for a delicious lunch and fellowship. She loved to cook, bake and entertain. The

house was always full of family and friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene,

under the direction of Absolute Economical Funeral Service.
