Elizabeth Mae Campbell

Elizabeth Mae Campbell, of Rolla, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the age of 89.

She was born on May 18, 1936 in Waukegan, IL to the late Guy Bodden Bandy and Rose Frances (Kosir) Bandy. On July 29, 1959, Elizabeth married Claude Campbell who preceded her in death on March 13, 1994. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan Heinson.

Elizabeth was employed as a supervisor at Cherry Electric from 1972 – 1984 in Waukegan, IL Working in her garden, especially growing beautiful flowers, gave her immense joy. She was a dog lover and she enjoyed playing Bingo. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren whom she adored. Also, she was a nana to many of her grandchildren's friends.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: one son, Aaron Campbell and wife, Diana of Rolla, MO; two grandchildren, Abagail Campbell and fiancé, Brandon Elliott of St. Louis, MO and Jaxon Campbell and girlfriend, Moriah Frazier of Rolla, MO; and special friends, Dawn Campbell Thornton, Luci Hussey and Pam Butery.

A graveside service for Elizabeth M. Campbell will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla, MO.
