Elizabeth Carolyn Taylor-Franklin, a cherished member of her community, lovingly known as Carolyn, peacefully passed away, leaving behind a vibrant legacy of love and care. Born in Princeton, Indiana, she spent her early years in Clermont, Florida before moving to Noxubee County, Mississippi in 1978. In 2002, after remarrying, she continued her journey in Neshoba County. Carolyn devoted her life to nurturing those around her, placing her family at the center of her world. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, fostering relationships wherever she went. She found joy in listening to music and appreciating the beauty of clear days and starry nights. Above all, her heart was happiest when surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren and beloved dogs.

She is survived by her caring husband, Eugene Franklin, her daughter Mary Ann Taylor and Jackie (Exo) Moore, her sons Roy (Gina) Taylor Jr., Scott Taylor, and Matt (Bethany) Taylor, along with her treasured grandchildren: Trey (Shamra) Taylor, Troy (Skylar) Taylor, Kirstie McBrayer, Jasmine (Cody) Wilkerson, Chancee (Tanner) Dalton, Coley (Maggie) Taylor, Exo Moore V, Laura'Li Moore, and Austryan Taylor. Carolyn was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, including Jadyn, Jordyn, Judson, Hadley, Banks, Murphy, Joseph, Malikai, Raiun, Nash, Wrenley, Michael, Meredith, Winston, Wiley, Kelton, and Brooks. She is remembered fondly by her brother, Terry Harvey, and a host of cherished nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Taylor; her daughter, Jamie Taylor; her parents, Jesse and Mildred Coffey; and her sister, Sona Presley.

Her legacy of compassion and kindness continues to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carolyn's light will forever shine in the hearts of her family and friends, who will carry her memory with them always.
